Cornerstone Renovation Group is seeking an experienced Sales Estimator to join our team!

Job Description:

We are seeking a results-driven Construction Sales Estimator for the our Atlanta Division located in Alpharetta, Georgia who has the desire to work in a quality company with superior products and a reputation for excellence. The ideal candidate would have a renovation and restoration background with a book of business. Cornerstone Renovation group is one of the leading contractors in the restoration/renovation industry with offices located throughout the Eastern United States. We offer a comprehensive list of commercial renovation and restoration services to clients which include schools, healthcare, hospitality, and multifamily properties.

The estimator will provide quotes for our clients and be responsible building and maintaining client relationships. The ideal candidate should have working knowledge of blueprints, construction drawings, materials used in our projects, specifications and other related documents.

Responsibilities

• Candidate will provide full estimating services from start to finish, including but not limited to bringing clients, reviewing proposal specifications, drawings, etc to determine scope of work and required contents of quote/estimate
• Candidate will be responsible working with our owners to estimate all associated job costs in order to provide quotes. This includes labor, materials, installation costs and equipment associated with the trades we are performing.
• Candidate will help identify and assess risks associated with projects to help insure we have priced the work according to provided documents.
• Prepare final proposal/bid package for client submission
• Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating competitive pricing
• Maintains a strong relationship with material vendors, our customers, project managers and office staff to gain all critical information required to provide a solid job quote
• Candidate will visit job sites to gain proper perspective on requested quotes if necessary.
• Candidate will assist in roll out of project with production team

Qualifications

• 5 years of proven experience as construction estimator with renovation and restoration experience
• Ideal candidate should have working knowledge of blueprints, construction drawings, materials used in our projects, specifications and other related documents
• Candidate will show ability to multi task, attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to manage complex tasks
• Strong communication and team based behaviors
• Client relationships preferred in the commercial and multifamily construction sector
• Must be very thorough and pay attention to details
• Well-organized and reliable
• Must be able to solve problems by critical thinking.
• Must have exceptional follow-up skills
• Must have experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
• Must have experience using Xactimate

In this position you will be responsible for:

• Client Development
• Project Estimation
• Managing change orders
• Client communication
• Project invoicing and securing payment
• Qualified candidates must have an existing client base
• Qualified candidates must have 5 - 10 years of sales and estimating experience
• Ability for some travel (10%)
• Excellent computer skills and written & verbal communication skills.
